Glad to meet you! I’m Zach, a Visiting Assistant Professor at Lyon College and a PhD candidate in the Neural and Cognitive Sciences program at Bowling Green State University. My major research interest is in human judgment and decision-making; I’m also interested in social cognition, philosophy of science, and behavioral finance, among other topics. You can find my first peer-reviewed publication here, my popular press article at Psych Central here, my professional blog here, and my Open Science Framework research page here.
This fall, I’m teaching PSY 235 (Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences) and PSY 101 (Introductory Psychology). I have previous experience teaching both courses; I also have experience teaching a Master’s-level Research Design & Analysis course online.
Lyon is more than just a college. It's a community distinguished by its academic curriculum, unique honor and social systems, and award-winning professors.
