Lyon College does not discriminate and prohibits discrimination against or harassment of students, faculty, staff, or employees (“Community Members”) based on sex. Lyon College also prohibits discrimination against or harassment of visitors to Lyon College based on sex. Any Community Member or visitor who believes that he/she has been subjected to discrimination or harassment based on sex is encouraged to report such discrimination or harassment. Lyon is committed to conducting a prompt investigation (in accordance with the procedure set forth in “Professional Behavior Policy Including Prohibition of Harassment and Sexual Harassment and Reporting Procedure”). Persons wishing to report acts of sexual discrimination or harassment should, depending upon the complainant’s status as a student, faculty member, staff member, employee, or visitor, report the harassment to the following person:

Community Members or visitors found to have engaged in acts of sexual harassment will be promptly disciplined, with such discipline to include, without limitation, up to and including suspension or expulsion for students, termination of employment for faculty and staff, and being barred from the premises for visitors. 

Lyon College encourages all Community Members to work together to prevent acts of harassment based on sex.
