Schedule
The summer school will be June 11 through June 16, 2023. Check in will be on Sunday the 11th, followed by auditions to establish group assignments.
Accommodations
You will be housed on-campus. Bring sheets for a twin bed. Accommodations for residential students include meals in the dinging hall.
Cost
On-campus: $950 – On-campus discounts: $50 for groups of 3 or more, $50 for students under 18.
Day Students ( Students who do not require accommodations ): $650

Lyon's Scottish Arts Summer School is a five-day-long camp that immerses participants in the Scottish arts. Participants will learn to pipe from some of the world's best instructors including Willie McCallum, Jack Lee, and Jimmy Bell. Kenton Adler works with Beginner and Novice pipers on technique, steady blowing, tuning, preparing for competition, and piping for weddings and funeral. Willie, Jimmy, and Jack will focus on more Advanced techniques and tunes in Piobaireachd, and all forms of Light Music.
For the duration of the program, participants who require housing will live on the Lyon College campus, and each of these participants should bring twin-sized bedding for his or her stay.
The Scottish Arts Summer School charges $650 for participants who do not require housing and $950 for participants who do require housing. All students under 18 may receive a $50 discount. All groups of three or more will also receive a $50 discount.
