A RESUME IS:
A selling tool - an advertisement for yourself, an introduction to a prospective employer that introduces you and often determines whether you get a further look or interview. Be positive, dynamic, purposeful, direct, assertive
A summary - a concise, accurate work-picture of you, not an autobiography, rather an inventory of your skills, experience, accomplishments and occupational interests. Be concise, clear, organized, neat, honest, and be yourself.
A guide & reminder - for the interviewer to use both during the interview and afterward. Be thorough, consistent, memorable.
