Physical education is the study of the effects of physical activity on mental and physical health. Lyon College's physical education minor aims to help students acquire and refine the planning, instructional, and interpersonal skills needed to promote healthy living and first-aid response. It builds comprehensive foundational knowledge in kinesiology, anatomy and physiology, the science of movement, and motor development.
