Lyon students can expect fun, engaging spring semester

SAC interns Jessienna Burkett-Erice and ZaMyireia Smith say students can look forward to new and traditional events this semester.

SAC intern ZaMyireia Smith said SAC will deliver the same quality of programs while following the new COVID-19 guidelines, giving students the chance to safely enjoy being part of the Lyon community.

“Students can expect a really fun and engaging semester,” said SAC intern Jessienna Burkett-Erice. “We are focusing on events that students can walk in and walk out of and virtual events.”

She continued, “I wanted to intern with SAC because the involvement I saw around campus made Lyon stand out to me when I first applied, and it continues to make our college stand out.”

Smith wanted to be a SAC intern to be more engaged in the programs at Lyon and help provide students with fun experiences.

“I’m excited to see how the year plays out and to see which events students enjoy the most!”

“We are so excited to spend this semester on campus!” Burkett-Erice said. “We can’t wait to see everyone at our events!”
