Tami Hall has been promoted to registrar at Lyon College according to Philip Cavalier, vice president for academic services. She was previously the assistant registrar.
Hall, a resident of Cave City and graduate of Cave City High School, has worked at Lyon for 11 years. Her first job was as an administrative assistant in institutional advancement. She moved up to administrative coordinator and then became the administrative coordinator in the registrar’s office. Seven months ago, she was promoted to the assistant registrar position.
She says the best part of her job is “interacting with the students.” As registrar, she is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and security of all academic records of current and former students; supporting student registration and enrollment; conducting degree audits; certifying bachelor degrees; verifying enrollment and degrees earned; and producing official transcripts.
Cavalier stated, “We know Tami will be an outstanding registrar for many years to come.”
Hall and her husband, Howard, are the parents of three sons and look forward to becoming grandparents to a granddaughter and grandson later this year. Their youngest son is a student at Lyon.
Lyon is more than just a college. It's a community distinguished by its academic curriculum, unique honor and social systems, and award-winning professors.
