In commemoration of the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death, the Lyon College Harlequin Theatre will hold auditions for Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors" at 6 p.m. Monday, August 22 in the Holloway Theatre.
All Lyon students are welcome to audition. Participants will be provided with monologues or asked to read scenes from the play. No preparation or experience is required.
One of Shakespeare's early plays and his shortest comedy, "The Comedy of Errors" is a farcical romp that tells the story of two sets of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth.
The production will run at the Holloway Theatre from September 29 to October 1 at 7:30 p.m. and on October 2 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors and free for Lyon students, faculty and staff. Seating is limited.
