Lyon College honors alumni with the 2022 Alumni Awards Banquet

Students helping students: Lyon service project builds backpacks, new friendships

Lyon College first-year students learned the value of service during Scot Week. Students helped fill backpacks with school supplies for local middle school students on Aug. 10. Pruden practices industrial chemistry, philanthropy this summer

A Lyon junior gave back to the community while gaining career experience this summer. John Pruden, of Allen, Texas, was accepted into the Society of Chemical Industry (SCI) Scholars Internship Program and worked with the research and development lab at Hexion Inc. in Stafford, Texas.  Hexion is a chemical company specializing in thermoset resins.
