Lyon alumni fund scholarship in honor of Gray’s 100th birthday

Lyon College alumni gave Dr. Dorothy Landis Gray, professor emerita of music, a special gift for her 100th birthday on April 23. Over 70 alumni and friends contributed funding to permanently endow the Dr. Dorothy Landis Gray Endowed Music Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a music student recommended by full-time music faculty. An anonymous donor has established two new endowed scholarships at Lyon College in the memory of former professors Cassie Creighton and Dr. Khursheed Omer.
