Lyon College welcomes new Scots during 2023 Spring Matriculation

Lyon College inducted a dozen new Scots to the community during the College’s 2023 Spring Matriculation Ceremony. The ceremony took place Monday, January 9, in Sloan Auditorium, Brown Fine Arts Building. Lyon College welcomed over 160 freshmen and 65 transfer students at the matriculation ceremony Friday, Aug. 12, held in Brown Chapel, Sloan Auditorium. Lyon College starts new tradition at matriculation

Lyon College welcomed over 240 freshmen and transfer students at the matriculation ceremony yesterday. Students participated in the new tradition of “Passing the Flame,” which symbolizes Lyon’s foundation of providing service to others while focusing on personal integrity.
