Lyon College's esports camp is back!

Grab your controllers and keyboards for Lyon College’s last esports camp of the year! We’ve got fighters, MOBAs, racing, rhythm, rocket cars playing soccer, and all we need are eager gamers looking to step up their play to the next level. Lyon Esports to host first LAN game night on Aug. 28

Lyon Esports will be hosting multiple local area network (LAN) game nights this year, and the first one will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28, from 6 p.m. to midnight in the Maxfield Room of Edwards Commons. Director of Esports Payton Tucker said the LAN night is BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer). The event is free and will have free food for attendees. Read More

Lyon esports player wins first championship

Jordan Deuley (center) signs with the Lyon College Esports team at Van Buren High School.   Jordan “Dewy413” Deuley hasn’t started playing for the Lyon College Esports team yet, but he has already won his first championship. Deuley, of Van Buren, won an Arkansas State Championship for the game Rocket League on May 28. Lyon esports team scores big in first tournament

Lyon College’s varsity esports team took first place at the Hendrix Smash Tournament in Conway on Nov. 16.
