Lyon student pairs passions for art, theatre despite pandemic

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic limiting internship opportunities, senior Bethany Stubbs has found a way to combine her passions for art and theatre at Lyon College this summer. Lyon art department helps Main Street blossom

Lyon alumna Victoria Hutcheson works on the Blossoming Main Street mural.   The Lyon College Art Program has completed a new mural in downtown Batesville. The new mural, Blossoming Main Street, depicts an apple blossom on Main Street to represent the recent growth of Batesville’s beautiful downtown. Samuel Beckett conference: Lyon College calls for art submissions

Lyon College will host the Samuel Beckett and Nature International Conference Friday, Oct. 16, through Sunday, Oct. 18. The art department is calling for works created by Lyon faculty, staff, alumni and students inspired by Beckett’s drama, fiction, poetry, screenplays or personal correspondences. Full steam ahead for Print-O-Rama on Oct. 16

The Lyon College Art Program will take printmaking to a new level at Print-O-Rama on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
