Learn bagpipes, drums with Lyon College Pipe Band

The Lyon College Pipe Band is offering the chance to learn bagpipes or pipe band drumming. Group lessons will be offered on Thursdays at 7 p.m. in the Scottish Heritage Building on campus. The Scottish Heritage Program teaches and celebrates Scottish arts and traditions under the direction of Pipe Major Jimmy Bell. When the Lyon community thinks of ScotsFest, one of the first images that comes to mind is Kenton Adler playing bagpipes in a kilt.
