The K-12 education concentration is designed to prepare students to teach vocal music at the K-12 level in Arkansas. The curriculum offered adds professional training and classroom experience to a solid education in the liberal arts.
Students wishing to concentrate in K-12 education must meet program admission requirements for enrollment in junior-level practicum courses, and the Liberal Arts Teacher Education Committee must formally admit students wishing to concentrate in secondary education before their senior internship.
