Language Proficiency
In order to determine English proficiency, Lyon requires all international students provide official TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, or iTEP scores with their application. Because Lyon provides college-level courses and opportunities for you to experience the academic and social aspects of the American college life, English proficiency is crucial for a positive and rewarding experience abroad.

For CONAHEC, Akita, ISEP, and Irish-American Scholar (tuition exchange) students, Lyon will accept certification of these scores by your home university or your exchange program in lieu of official scores.
