Before you can bring your furry friend to campus, you must be approved for having a campus pet. Be aware that those living in the pet-friendly residence hall with their pets will pay premium housing fees, currently $600 more than the standard price per year. Students with pets in the pet-friendly hall will also pay a $50 nonrefundable cleaning fee each semester and a $200 refundable cleaning deposit prior to pet being allowed on campus. The deposit will be refundable once student moves out of pet friendly housing or leaves Lyon College, subject to business office refund policies. Students who live in the hall without bringing their own pet will not pay these extra fees.

Your application for a campus pet will include:

• The completed campus pet application form
• A photo of the pet
• Proof of its vaccination
• Proof of spay/neuter
