Anthropology Club

Anthropology Club

Purpose:

  1. To promote anthropological interests and awareness to the student body of Lyon College.
  2. To enhance educational opportunities of the department of Anthropology and provide further enrichment outside of the classroom for anthropology majors and the general student body.

As an academic club that is interested in all things relating to Anthropology we like to do activities ranging from movie nights to student lectures. In the Spring of 2015, Anthropology Club had Dr. Peter Ungar of the University of Arkansas come and give a lecture. We had a great turnout and people really enjoyed hearing what Dr. Ungar had to say. We look forward to doing more things like this in the future.

As of now we do not have a set day for our meetings, but the meetings will likely be every other week. Please feel free to contact any one of us regarding Anthropology Club.
