Alumni have two options for requesting official transcripts. The most convenient and recommended method is to use Transcripts on Demand by SCRIP-SAFE, the trusted online provider chosen by Lyon College to provide electronic transcript delivery. Alternatively, alumni may request transcripts in person at the registrar’s office. The fees for transcripts sent by SCRIP-SAFE are $3 for electronic delivery and $5 for paper transcripts sent by mail. Paper transcripts requested in person at the registrar’s office are $10 each. Requests made in person may require up to a 3-hour wait for fulfillment.
The methods for requesting transcripts are explained in more detail below. No matter the request method used, a transcript will not be released until all financial and/or administrative obligations to the College have been satisfied. Transcripts may either be sent immediately or after the current semester's final grades are posted. The Federal Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) requires a signature to release a transcript and both e-Scrip Safe and Lyon College require a release to be on file.
