SAFARI 

EXPERIENCE JAPAN THROUGH CRAFTS AND GAMES:  K-3 students learned about Japanese culture and folktales through the Japanese art of paper crafts such as origami.  

INTRODUCTION TO JAPANESE CULTURE: 4-7 graders learned about the cultural history of Japan through the study of myth and legends, calligraphy, crafts, music, abacus, and crafts.

INTRODUCTION TO JAPANESE LANGUAGE:  Students learned Japanese greetings and basic expressions.  They also learned the Japanese language through lots of hands-on games and computer activities.
