Spragins Hall, completed in
1965, is named in honor of
Dr. John D. Spragins. Dr. Spragins was president of Lyon College from
1942-1952. Spragins Hall is the oldest residence hall on campus. It
underwent a major restoration in 2000. Spragins Hall is one of
four residence halls that make up Spragins House, and currently houses first year women.
Alcohol and smoking are
prohibited in all residence halls located on the Spragins House quad.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to
8am Sunday through Thursday and from 12am to 12pm on Friday and Saturday. Guests
may visit students in their rooms between the hours of 8-2am.
Overnight guests of the opposite gender are not allowed. For more
