November has just started and yet it is already proving to be busy for the dance program! On Sunday November 5th, Haley, DeAnna and I journeyed to Jonesboro with the campus chaplain, Rev. Nancy McSpadden, to dance at a Presbyterian cluster event. We danced the Fling, Sword, Triubhas, Lilt, and Flora with appropriate history given before each dance. Following us, Rev. McSpadden gave a lovely speech about what her role as the head of the campus ministry entails. All in all, the evening was lovely. We were treated to a nice sit-down steak dinner, allowed to shop at their 10,000 villages trade fair (supports 3rd world countries' merchandise at a fair price), and warmly received.

The Harney and Sons Tea fundraiser has kicked off and will be going on for the next 2 weeks. The proceeds will aid dancers in their dance necessities, namely purchasing their shoes, kilts, and registration money for competing.

    There's plenty more to come!

For the dancers,
