Happy New Year! January will bring with it our first annual dance studio fundraiser. We will be raising money to buy needed supplies (i..e. kilts, shoes, etc) for the dancers, both competitive and non-competitive. Not too much news to report. I'm sure we've all had a restful break and are ready to get things rolling again! OH YES...the studio has some new "equipment." Over break I purchased a dozen "dance spots." These should be very useful in teaching the reel, keeping dancers dancing in one spot (perfect for the fling) and playing some new dance games. Both older girls and younger should beware. Staying on the spot is not as easy as it seems!  That's all for now. Will update on the fundraiser once we get it going.
