The MidSouth Piping Society was formed in 2003 as the Arkansas Piobaireachd Society
 to celebrate the advancement of the ancient and martial music of the bagpipe through
listening, learning, teaching, and playing of the Ceol Mor.  The Society has been
expanded to include light music, and pipers and drummers across the region.
