This study investigated factors involved in Hispanic students' educational success. Some of the factors associated with the level of success are involvement in extra-curricular activities, the English fluency of parents, the number of years in this country, the measures parents take in order to help their children learn English and about American culture, the methodologies of the school systems, and the influence of living in a highly Spanish speaking state before moving to Arkansas.
