SPECIAL FRIENDS PROGRAM

The Special Friend Program was established to provide an opportunity for international students to develop a social relationship with Americans in the Independence County community.  The Special Friend is a person or family serving as a community liaison assisting the Lyon College International Student Advisor with the task of assimilating an international student from the College to the community of Batesville and surrounding areas.  The intention is that the Special Friend will be a friend to the student while s/he is enrolled at the college.
