Welcome to the Church Relations web site! As Director of Church Relations, it is my responsibility to help develop and strengthen the relationship between the College and Presbyterian Churches and their individual members, establishing and providing a resourceful partnership between the college and our church constituency.

Lyon College was founded by the Presbyterian Church and is affiliated with the Synod of the Sun of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), through a covenant relationship overseen by the College’s Board of Church Advocates. The College seeks and welcomes students of all religious faiths and is true to the Presbyterian tradition of non-sectarian, values-oriented educational programs in an atmosphere of free inquiry. For more resources, see the church-related links on the right. From time to time, church-related articles will appear in The Green Sheet, the College electronic newsletter. In addition, there is an event calendar with information about church-related events.
