Pipers Drop Second Straight at Rhodes

(September 11, 2004) Memphis, TN – The Lyon College Volleyball team dropped its second consecutive match Saturday 3-0 (19-30, 21-30, 14-30) at Rhodes College.  The Pipers hit a horrid -.071 in the three game match.  They hit negative in each of the three games and made 62 errors all together. 

“I don’t know if we even got out of the bus today,” stated Coach Dee.  “I am not taking anything away from Rhodes, they came to play.  It is just hard to win a match when you give 62 points away.  We just have to learn from it and move on.”

The ladies will have to move on quick as they face Christian Brothers, a very tough NCAA Division II foe, on Thursday night at home.  Match time is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
