David McClure * Head Coach McClure, originally from Gravette, Ark, begins his 3rd year as head coach of the Pipers. Last season the Pipers finished 11-19 overall and 7th in the TranSouth Conference with a 5-11 record. Before taking over for the Pipers, he was the men’s assistant coach at Lyon College for three years and also served stints at Lonoke High School and Shiloh Christian School in Springdale. He is a 1996 graduate of Hendrix College, where he was a member of two NCAA Div. III national tournament teams. Coach McClure received a master's degree in physical education from the University of Arkansas in 1999. His wife, Jennifer, is a registered nurse at White River Medical Center in Batesville. Justin Dee * Assistant Coach Coach Dee begins his first season at the helm of the Pipers Volleyball program. He is also the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. Coach Dee received a B.S. in Mathematics from Liberty University in 1999. Prior to coming to Lyon, Dee served as assistant volleyball coach at NCAA Division I Birmingham-Southern College for one year. Before Birmingham-Southern, Dee was the head coach for two years at Simpson College in Redding, CA. While at Simpson, Dee led the Vanguards to back to back NCCAA II National tournament appearances, finishing 5th in the nation in 2001 and 3rd in 2002. Coach Dee's overall record at Simpson was 41-27.
