Biography
McNaughton, a 2002 graduate of Ottawa
University (Kan.) enters his second season as the Head Women's
Soccer coach.
During McNaughton’s first season
(Fall 2006), the Pipers finished with a 12-6 overall record and finished
3rd in the TranSouth Athletic Conference. In the postseason,
the Pipers advanced to the Final Four of the Conference Tournament and
also garnered an at-large selection to the Region XI Tournament.
Before McNaughton’s arrival at Lyon, he served as the lead assistant coach for
the Women's and Men's programs at Ottawa University from 2002-2005.
During his time at Ottawa University, he helped lead the Women's program
to three consecutive KCAC conference championships, 3 of 4 KCAC
postseason tournament championships and four consecutive NAIA Region IV
appearances.
He helped lead the Men's program to the 2004 KCAC
postseason tournament championship and its first appearance in the
Region IV tournament in school history. Chris earned his Master's degree
in Business Administration from Ottawa University in 2004.
