Bennett takes over the Lyon College Tennis program for a second stint, having first served as head coach from 1997-1999.  John currently owns and operates Batesville Realty here in Batesville.  Bennett has a strong interest in tennis, having played in and won tournaments in Jonesboro, Little Rock, Fort Smith, and Texarkana.  John has also served on the Arkansas State Tennis Association Board of Directors.
