Bishop, a 1997 graduate of Harding University is entering his third year as head coach of the Scots. Previously he served as head women's coach and assistant men's coach at Barton County Community College, and as an assistant in the men's and women's programs at the University of Central Arkansas. He also was the head coach at Central Arkansas Christian High School. He has a master's degree from the University of Central Arkansas. While at Harding he played both football and soccer. His wife Elizabeth, is a registered nurse at White River Medical Center.

 Derek Nichols* Assistant Coach

Coach Nichols is also Lyon College's Women's Soccer coach. Previously he served as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and as an assistant coach for the men's and women's soccer teams at Hendrix College. He is also a staff coach for the Arkansas State Soccer Association. Coach Nichols is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and received his master's degree in May of 2003, also from UCA. In his last year at UCA, the men's team won the Gulf South conference championship and conference tournament.  UCA advanced to the NCAA Division II Final Four losing to eventual national champion Sonoma State in double overtime.  UCA finished the season ranked #3 in the country.  Derek's wife, Jessica, works at Regions Bank of Batesville.
