The Scots played on September 18th and 19th in St. Louis, MO. The Scots lost their first game 3-0 to Missouri Baptist. MO Bapt. is one of the best teams the Scots have faced this year and were unable to stop their quick accurate counter-attacking style which accounted for all three goals in the game. The Scots won their second game on the road trip with a 5-1 score against Harris-Stowe. Nick Jones scored the first and third goals of the game in the 16th and 24th minutes. He was assisted by Steve Banks on both of those goals. Tim Akin scored the second goal of the game in the 20th minute on a long range shot, Jacob Mattern recorded the assist. Jeremy Bobo scored in the 44th minute off an assist from Chris Schmitt to make the score 4-0 at halftime. Just two minutes into the second half Steve Banks scored the final goal for the Scots when Jeremy Bobo found him running in behind the HS defenders. With eight minutes remaining in the game HS got on the score board to make the final 5-1.
