Cortney, a junior from Lepanto, Arkansas, led the the Scots to a 2-0 week with a victories over conference rivals Freed-Hardeman University and Martin Methodist College.  In the win over Freed-Hardeman, Brown poured in 16 points - hitting 4 of 5 three point field goals - and grabbed 4 rebounds.  In the victory over Martin Methodist, Cortney scored 14 points - hitting 2 of 3 three point field goals - and pulled down 3 rebounds.  For the week, Cortney shot 71% from the field and 75% from beyond the 3-point line.  The Scots are now 12-7 on the season.
