April, a freshman from Farmington, Arkansas, led the the Pipers to a 1-1 week with a victory over Philander Smith College and a loss to Cumberland University.  In the win over Philander Smith, Carter poured in 24 points - hitting 6 of 8 three point field goals - and dished out 2 assists.  In the loss at Cumberland University, April scored 10 points - hitting 2 of 3 three point field goals.  The Pipers are now 11-7 on the season.
