Krug, a 1998 graduate of Lyon College is in his fifth year as head coach of the Pipers. He has a master's degree from Northwest Missouri State University. A three-time TranSouth Conference Coach of the Year, Krug has coached two NAIA All-Americans and this past season coached the Pipers to an eleventh place finish in the NAIA National Tournament. Brian was also named NAIA Region XI Coach of the year.  While at Lyon he played baseball for the Scots and later served as a student assistant. He also serves as the Intramural Director.
