best medical clinics and hospitals are available for emergency use in
Batesville. Tuition will provide health and liability insurance for each
camper for the week.

The
Lyon College soccer camps will be under the direction of Coach Jeremy Bishop
and Coach Chris McNaughton. The camp coaching staff will be other college coaches
and college players.

Instruction
Lyon
soccer camps are designed to teach the fundamentals and skills needed to excel
in the game of soccer. The campers will learn in a fun, no pressure
environment. Technical work, on-field instruction, and small-sided games will
contribute to improving individual performance and greater understanding of
tactical play.

Coach McNaughton served as the lead assistant coach for the Women's and
Men's programs at Ottawa University from 2002 - 2005. During his time at
Ottawa University; he helped lead the Women's program to 3 consecutive KCAC
conference championships, 3 of 4 KCAC postseason tournament championships
and 4 consecutive NAIA Region IV appearances. He helped lead the Men's
program to the 2004 KCAC postseason tournament championship and its first
appearance in the Region IV tournament in school history.
Coach
Bishop is the first Head Men’s Soccer Coach in Lyon College history. Coach
Bishop will be entering his fifth season at Lyon in the Fall of 2006. Coach
Bishop comes to Lyon College after helping start the soccer programs at
Barton County Community College. Before coaching at Barton, Bishop was an
Assistant Coach for three years at the University of Central Arkansas.
Both
Coaches have spent several years coaching youth teams and serving as assistant
soccer camp directors.
Lyon College is looking forward to its soccer season, and hopes that its
summer soccer camps will help foster a great relationship with the soccer
community in Independence County.
