Location

The Lyon College baseball summer camp will be held on the campus of Lyon College. The baseball facility is located in the southeast corner of campus.

What to bring

Each camper will need rubber cleats and tennis shoes, hat, glove, and bat.

Refreshments

A camp concession stand will be open during the camp. Campers will be able to purchase drinks and candy. Drinks are $1.50 and candy is $.75.

Health

The best medical clinics and hospitals are available for emergency use in Batesville.

Staff

The Lyon College baseball camps will be under the direction of the Lyon College baseball staff and players.

Instruction

Basic fundamentals in hitting, pitching, and baserunning will be stressed in all sessions.

Instruction will be given in small group settings. The groups will be broken down by age and skill level.

A full schedule of drills, demonstrations, and practice sessions will take place each day. The campers will receive game-type training at the end of each session.

Recreation

Becknell Physical Education Building houses an indoor swimming pool which can be used upon completion of each session.
