College Is All About Dating
Access the Calendar by double clicking the icon on your Desktop. This is your personal calendar and only you can make entries. Others can access your calendar unless you use the Permissions window to deny that privilege. By default, the calendar opens to a View by Week, and begins with Monday of the current week, and also displays a view of the current day to the left of that. You can move forward or backward using the appropriate arrows found to the right of the This Week button. Double click on the day where you wish to make a calendar entry and a window will open representing that day.

Enter a short Description of the event in the appropriate blank. Clicking the Down arrows to the right of "Starts at" and "Ends at" allows you to select the desired times. To enter times other than the top of the hour, single click the displayed time to highlight it, and manually type in the appropriate minute you wish the event to begin or end.

By clicking the other tabs you can Schedule meetings with other
users, set the event to Repeat if it's an ongoing event, and to Remind you of
upcoming events. If you are logged into FirstClass at the time you've
asked to be reminded, a window pops open with the reminder. If you are not
logged in, the system sends you an e-mail reminder.

By clicking the calendar icons on the toolbar you can change from a weekly to a monthly or daily view.

The FirstClass Administrator can also create a Group Calendar upon request, and grant permissions for only member of the group to access that calendar. Call Information Services Helpdesk at 8555 if you need a Group Calendar created for your particular group.
