Attaching a File to an E-mail

To attach a file to an outgoing e-mail, first start a new message.  use your mouse to left click the icon in the menu bar that resembles a paper clip attached to a piece of paper.

You'll see an Upload File window pop up that asks you where to look for the file you wish to attach.  Use the down arrow on the right to see a choice of available source locations.  The file has to be store someplace like your hard drive, or on a network drive you have permission to map to.

Select the appropriate drive.

Find the file you want to attach and single click to select it, and then click Open, or just double click the file.

The green meter bar will indicate when the file transfer is complete.  Then click close.

You should see your attached file in the Attachments: window.  Add whatever accompanying text you want in your message window and then click Send.
