An Introduction To

Citrix

Online

During your time at Lyon College you will often find it necessary to
access the campus computing network  After you graduate and go
out into the workforce you will encounter other types of networks
and will be expected to learn to use them and the resources they
provide.  And keep in mind that computers and the Internet are
dynamic entities.  They are constantly changing, evolving, and
growing.  What you learn today may not be exactly the same
tomorrow.  It's important that you conceptualize the information
you gain from this course and learn to think critically and apply
the concepts to new situations and applications you might
encounter down the road.

Lyon College approaches the difficult task of providing the best
possible access to the network and its resources with a unique
and powerful tool called Citrix.  This tutorial will explain what
Citrix is, how to access it, what you can find once you log on,
and how to quit properly  when you've finished.
