BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Sarah Ruegger became Lyon College's single-season points leader with a pair of goals in a 5-0 thumping of the Lambuth Lady Eagles Saturday in TranSouth Conference action at Huser Field.

Rugger's two-goal output gave her 31 points for the season, topping Sarah Poncher's record of 28 set in 2006. The performance also gave Ruegger seven goals in the last two games and a Lyon record 14 this year.

Lyon goal keeper Erica Cox shutout a team for the fifth time this season.

Pipers Kristin Maas, Kaelli Broomfield and Marisa Browne scored a goal each. Lyon forward Angelique Armenta assisted on two goals.
