JACKSON, Tenn. --
April Carter and K.K. Hodges each scored a game-high 20
points, but the Lyon College Pipers couldn't find
another scoring option in an 84-50 blowout loss to the
No. 13 Lambuth Lady Eagles Saturday in TranSouth action.
Lyon falls to 18-12 overall and 8-10 in TranSouth play.
Lambuth improves to 21-8 and 13-4.
Carter, with 6 of 10 3-pointers made in the contest,
became the first Piper in history to record 100
3-pointers in a season. The Farmington, Ark., guard now
has a school-record 105 3-pointers this season. She is
also the career record holder at Lyon with 256.
Hodges shot 8 of 13 from the field and pulled down five
boards. The freshman from Wynne, Ark., fouled out with
1:28 left to play.
No other Piper scored more than five points.
Rachel Cunningham led the Lady Eagles with 13 points.
