Hodges honored with
All-TranSouth Conference
team selections
BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Lyon
College freshman Keishanna "K.K." Hodges was honored
with an All-TranSouth Conference second-team selection
and was also named to the All-TranSouth Conference
Freshman team, according to a press release from the
TranSouth Conference office.
Hodges, a 6-0 forward
from Wynne, Ark., placed fifth among TranSouth
Conference scorers with a team-high 15.7 points-per-game
average. The Lyon forward stepped it up in conference
play and averaged 17.6 points per game against league
foes – ranked fourth among all TranSouth players.
The freshman finished
sixth in the conference in rebounding, averaging 7.1
rebounds per game. In addition, Hodges placed No. 12 in
the country among NAIA Division I women's basketball
players and fourth in the TranSouth Conference with a
55.4% field-goal shooting percentage.
Her current total of 470 points
ranks her No. 12 for single-season points in the
recorded history of the school. Hodges' season
rebounding total of 213 also places her tied for sixth
place among the best single-season rebounding seasons.
