Daria Paunovic, Lauren Castleberry and Ashley Daniel
each notched double-digit kills in the Lyon College
Pipers 3-0 sweep of the Lambuth Lady Eagles Tuesday
evening in a TranSouth Conference match at Becknell Gym.
Paunovic and Castleberry scored 13 kills apiece while
Daniel added 10. Paunovic added 10 digs and Castleberry
had three aces.
Lyon -- winners of two straight conference matchups --
improves to 14-10 overall and 8-5 in TranSouth play. The
Pipers are now 3-0 against the Lady Eagles this season
and have swept the past two matches.
The loss sinks Lambuth to 10-16 and 4-11.
Leah Eifling led the Pipers' service attack with five
aces and libero Ann Sullivan sparked the defense with a
team-high 14 digs.
Jessica Sylvester set 21 assists while Julie Arnold
added 16 assists.
