HENDERSON, Tenn. -- The Freed-Hardeman Lady
Lions picked up their second straight sweep of the
versus the Lyon College Pipers and in turn swept the
regular-season TranSouth Conference series.
Freed-Hardeman dumped
Lyon 30-20 and 30-19 in the first two games and ran away
with the match in a 30-23 in the final game.
The Lady Lions won
3-0 previously on Oct. 19 at Becknell Gymnasium.
Outside hitter Daria
Paunovic was the Pipers' kill leader with nine. Lyon
freshman Lauren Castleberry added seven kills and six
digs while teammate Ann Sullivan earned seven digs and
two aces. Julie Arnold led the Pipers in the assists
catagory with 10.
Lyon plays in the last
home game of the season at on
Saturday at Noon against Mid-Continent for the Pipers' Senior Night
festivites.
