MAYFIELD, Ky. -- The NAIA's No. 25-ranked Mid-Continent Cougars scored two goals in the first half and two more in the second to knock off Lyon College 4-0 Saturday in a TranSouth Conference match.

Mid-Continent (7-4-2 overall and 5-1 in the TranSouth) is tied for the top spot in the conference with Bethel College and Union University.

Lyon falls to 4-7 overall and 2-3 inside the TranSouth.

Matt Callaway played all 90 minutes in goal for the Scots and suffered the loss.
