BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Martin Methodist
forward Alan O'Connor accounted for two goals in less
than a minute to lead the RedHawks to a 3-0 triumph over
the Lyon College Scots Saturday in a TranSouth
Conference matchup.
O'Connor scored in each of the 25th and
26th minutes to give Martin Methodist (6-3 overall and
3-2 in the TranSouth) a 2-0 advantage.
RedHawk junior Simone Enrici accounted
for his team's other goal in the 60th minute and goal
keeper Hunter Jamison notched the shutout, earning five
saves.
Lyon sinks to 3-6 overall and 1-2 in
league matches. Goal keeper Matt Callaway took the loss
for Lyon, saving five shots, while allowing three goals.
