A native Scot gave the
Lyon College Scots a 1-0 victory over the John Brown
University Golden Eagles Wednesday at Huser Soccer
Field.
Lyon College freshman
Mark Maxwell, a native of Glasgow, Scotland, scored the
game-winning goal in the 79th minute. Maxwell's goal
came courtesy of assists from sophomores Gabe LeBlanc

season for Lyon (1-1-0), following a 1-0 loss to Central
Baptist on Aug. 24.
Scots' keeper Matt
Callaway earned the shutout victory, stopping six shots
for saves.
JBU goal keeper Spencer
Watson saved seven shots for the Golden Eagles, who fall
to 1-1-0.
