BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Malaz Moustafa scored
the game-winning goal in the 76th minute to lead the
Lyon College Scots to a 2-1 victory over the Crichton
College Comets Tuesday in a TranSouth Conference match
at Huser Field.
Lyon goal keeper Matt Callaway stopped 11
Crichton shots for saves and allowed only one goal in 90
minutes of work.
Crichton drew first blood in the 16th
minute on a goal from Adimou Berry, but the Scots
bounced back with a goal on a spectacular flying header
by Russell Williams to even the score at 1-1 in the 26th
minute.
The victory sends the Scots to 5-9
overall and 3-5 inside the TranSouth Conference.
Crichton drops to 1-13-2 and 0-8-1.
